Ranieri Communications is a PR and marketing agency based in Aylesbury. Specialising in the IT and consumer sectors, they help their clients to get media coverage for their products. If you see a gadget featured in a magazine, then Pietro Ranieri and his team may well be responsible for getting it there.
Challenges
The company had some routine requirements but some more complex ones as well. They required the usual year-end completion of accounts and tax returns, and their main asset is their staff, so running an accurate and timely payroll scheme was important as well. However, as a profitable and expanding limited company, with a growing tax bill as a result, they also needed advice on how to plan their activities so as to minimise their tax liabilities.
On top of that, they were engaged in a number of new projects and joint ventures, all of which were evolving over time and so needed regular monitoring and input from a financial and taxation perspective.
